This module is designed to create and handle wide area networks. Using the agent mechanism, Anasil is capable of creating lists of remote network devices (computers, printers, network devices) automatically and based on that it can draw up a map with information on their current condition. On the basis of network traffic analyses the program can also create a map of inter-network connections and develop a general connection map.

Each user can be assigned one of the user-defined locations (e.g. an office room or building number), which allows the program to group devices according to their locations and improves transparency of the map.

Beside the feature of easy listing of active devices and their network addresses, this module can be used to compile remotely a list of all hardware components which are installed on computers within a selected subnetwork. It makes hardware allocation control within a subnetwork easy and fast, which in turn results in better usage of hardware. Information on the condition of hardware resources is stored in the main Anasil database, which allows you to make comparisons and produce a report on hardware state changes. This enables you to verify allocations of recently purchased components.
